Trip highlights

This part of the amber hills is officially a part of the larger Nahargarh Sanctuary. It is also only one of the few trails you can hike in the sanctuary without a permit. This valley is also known as the peacock valley. Other bird species spotted are parakeets, kingfisher, Indian tree pie, the Indian roller and of course cormorants. Wildlife such as leopards, hyenas and civets also habitat in this region, but rarely spotted because of the increased human activity in recent times.
